Football should always be played outdoors (a lot colder up at Minnesota’s new facility a couple of weeks earlier in mid-November)! The Chicago venue would be fantastic, Mag- mile, Grant Park, unlimited hotel, restaurants, bar selections, great public transportation with the L-train system(two & from both major airports to downtown hotels). Best of all, thousands of Big Ten Alums from every school living in & around Chicagoland!!

Mitch
IU 1983Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2719122004661496164.post-79557677891655153552010-07-15T10:48:52.533-07:002010-07-15T10:48:52.533-07:00Can't Agree with you on this one. Purhaps if IU were in the football championship, the stadium would have a hard time selling out. Put I promise you that the fans from Happiy Valley, Michigan, Iowa, Columbus, and pretty much any other Big ten School would fill up a stadium in Chicago, year in and year out; especially if the game had national title ramifications. The fans from these schools would sit there in 20 below naked if their school was a national title contender. So yes, Indy should be considered, but the cold is not a deal breaker.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-2719122004661496164.post-70021838918876473412010-07-15T06:14:28.752-07:002010-07-15T06:14:28.752-07:00What is the difference between playing a game in C...What is the difference between playing a game in Chicago in December one in Columbus or Ann Arbor in late November? Cutting Chicago, the best city in the Midwest, from the list because of weather is ridiculous. Football is an outdoor sport! (Oh, and how is Indy more centrally located than Chicago? Tell that to our new friends from Omaha.)

Eric,
IU 1995Anonymousnoreply@blogger.com
